You may have been looking for hansonphoto.co.uk, the home of Richard Hanson’s photography - if you drop by over there you’ll find some of my work from the UK and around the world. I’ve been working as a professional photographer since 1992, and have visited over forty countries in some of the most interesting and challenging parts of the world.
I’m based in Sheffield, in the north of England, but my photography takes me all over the UK, as well as overseas regularly.
I also work for many UK charities and corporate clients, in education and health, as well as architecture and editorial portraits for national newspapers and magazines.
There’s some of my personal work there too - some may end up here at some future point, but not quite yet.
And I own the domain wedding-pics.co.uk - I may eventually get something up on that too, as I do occasional weddings in amongst everything else...
Or you may have been looking for LookBothWays, the hansonphoto blog - full of interesting and timely snippets of information about what I’m working on, and how I’m doing it. There are occasional equipment reviews (Nikon cameras - currently the D3s, D700, D300s; Apple computers; Lumedyne battery powered lights; Bowens mains powered lights; various good bits of software) (and bags). And exhibition info too.
If you weren’t looking for any of that, I’d be interested in how you found this page - drop me a line here. Or if you feel I’ve already taken enough of your time - thanks for visiting!
